Brianna Felegi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics will serve as a Summer Fellow in the research department of the W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research. The W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research is a private, not-for-profit, nonpartisan, independent research organization, studying policy-related issues of employment and unemployment since its founding in 1945.
    During the one month visit, Brianna will work on a project examining the relationship between negative labor market shocks and the adoption of local immigration enforcement policies. She will have the chance to work alongside many distinguished economists in her field including Brad J. Hershbein, Timothy J. Bartik, Alfonso Flores-Lagunes,  and Aaron Sojourner.
    Dr. Felegi will also have the opportunity to participate in the annual one-day summer conference to meet others connected to the Upjohn Institute.
    This is a prestigous honor for Brianna that will be a great opportunity to network and advance her research.
